Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has awarded Despark College a 6 stars (Outstanding) rating, the highest possible MyQuest rating. Of more than 200 colleges audited by MOHE, Despark College was 1 of 14 colleges to receive this award.
The Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) sees the Rating of Higher Education Institution (IPT) Malaysia for a consistent 2018/2019 session in implementing continuous improvements in providing high-quality and high-impact higher education to students. MyQuest ratings are evaluated through 35 indicators that includes the dimension of input, process and output that emphasize the five key core values which are student’s quality and diversity, resource and financial sustainability, quality management system, program recognition and graduate recognition and institutional reputation. According to the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, six stars show that the IPT is at an excellent level and has international competitiveness.
“This is a wonderful way to wrap up the year and I would like to dedicate this achievement to all of our college staffs and students who played their part in delivering the required outcome,” said Cherrie Lee, Chief Executive Officer, Despark College. She added that the cooperation between the college staff and students had contributed to their success, which enabled them to achieve the outstanding rating.
