Kuala Lumpur, 27 November 2022 – It was a great weekend to honour more than 200 graduates who received their scrolls at the Despark International College Convocation Ceremony on the 27th November 2022 at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The ceremony also celebrated the graduates of 2020 who were affected due to the peak COVID-19 pandemic. The graduation not only brings up feelings of excitement and pride, but also nostalgia, friendship and memories during the toughest year of their study journey. Behind every successful student, there will always be proud parents who deserve to take a bow.
On the occasion of the convocation ceremony, it also awarded its best graduates with a total of 8 Dean’s List Awards for their achievements, including an Outstanding Academic Award.
The Outstanding Student Award was given to Kamessh A/L B Manalan, the 1st cohort of 3+0 Bachelor’s Degree students, who was awarded a First Class Honours Degree in Automotive Engineering from Wrexham Glyndwr University.
CEO of DSIC urge graduates to join it’s alumni community. “As you pursue your own paths, I hope that in the years to come, we can continue to build upon the relationship we have fostered throughout your time here and through the DSIC Alumni community. DSIC Alumni community should be a platform to celebrate our future successes together and to share stories so that next generation of students can benefit from your experiences as well.”
It is not necessary to attend a graduation ceremony in order to formally graduate. The Examination Board unit has started issuing certificates. Please liaise directly with the Examination Board Unit via admin@desparkcollege.edu.my for any queries if you have yet to receive your certificate.
